I greatly enjoyed the family atmosphere. Booked a family king room with a microwave oven, a sofa bed, and central heating. A bathtub in the bathroom was a plus. The hotel had stunning and marvellous location near to the lake. It also was by the lakeside.

After a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings, including scenic hiking trails, fishing spots, and a chance to paddle along the tranquil river, our visit to La Tribu was truly memorable. The location provided an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing us to reconnect as a family and appreciate the wonders of nature.
My wife says that having a small play area for the children would have been great.

Stunning location, tranquil and peaceful, charming and friendly proprietors, simplicity and pared back approach, shared facilities.

The location was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning lake where I could swim and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the accommodation itself had a unique charm, as it used to be a school and had lots of character. the hosts, Sylvie and Gilles, were amazing and made my stay even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful evening with them, and Sylvie even made me delicious homemade courgette soup from her own garden. I really appreciated their help when I arrived late and all the shops were closed.
That I couldn't find any decent restaurants nearby, and the recommended option was quite basic. However, I arrived late and didn't have much time to search, so I might have been able to find something better if I had more time.

I had an incredible stay at La Tribu De Lavaud Bed & Breakfast. the location was absolutely stunning, offering a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. the proprietors, Sylvie and Gilles, were charming and very friendly, providing helpful recommendations. I loved the simplicity of the accommodations and the shared facilities, such as the showers and dining table. the breakfast was simple but generous, with delicious bread and condiments, and unlimited coffee.
Almost perfect! Spoiled slightly by other lake users with loud music and shouting 🙁

I had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B near a serene lake. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even providing a delicious meal made from their own garden. The simplicity of the accommodations added to the peaceful ambiance. Despite a basic breakfast, the location and hospitality made up for it. I highly recommend this hidden gem.
